In 2010, I had the opportunity to spend 10 wonderful days with 19 other writers, being taught by Chimamanda Adichie, Binyavanga Wainaina, Niq Mhlongo and Chika Unigwe. Besides the chance to learn from pros, it was also just great to spend time with other writers and a number of them remain good friends.
I think workshops are great, and any writer who’d like to attend one should apply for the 2014 Farafina Trust Creative Writing Workshop.
The workshop is organized by award-winning writer and creative director of Farafina Trust, Chimamanda Adichie, and will hold from August 5 to August 15 2014.
